Lake Holiday Amenities

The amenities at Lake Holiday make living in the community a place to vacation where you live. With so many things to do, you’ll find something you love while making new friends or keeping up with old friends.

AMENITIES FOR LAKE HOLIDAY HOMEOWNERS

Lake Holiday - the lake itself is the heart of the Lake Holiday community. Encompassing 250 acres, it provides activities in the form of boating, water sports, kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, swimming, and fishing. Maintained by the lake committee, the waters of Lake Holiday are healthy and hospitable to both people and the abundant wildlife that calls Lake Holiday home.

Beaches - Lake Holiday includes three beaches. Beaches 1 and 2 are sandy beaches, with plenty of room to relax between dips in the lake. Beach 2 also includes a boat dock for easy access in and out of the lake for boating beachgoers. Beach 3 is an “au natural” beach, requiring an excursion through a wooded area on gravel roads to reach your destination.

Activities and Events - Lake Holiday is known for its gatherings. From small activities like movie nights to large-scale events like the July fireworks, residents have the opportunity to socialize often. Potluck dinners, summer bands on the clubhouse deck, visits from the Easter Bunny and Santa, festivals, and food trucks are just a few of the activities and events at Lake Holiday.

Basketball and Tennis Courts - go for an invigorating game of doubles on the tennis court or grab a few friends for a friendly pickup game. With two tennis courts and two hoops, you’ll always have a place to play.

Camping - Lake Holiday has nine campsites available at Beach 2. You can bring a tent or a trailer for camping under the stars. Fall asleep to the gentle lapping of waves on the beach, grill campfire favorites on the built-in grills, and spend the day relaxing on the beach.

Clubs - Bunco, book club, yoga, and coffee clubs are just a few of the many clubs you can join, or you can start your own. There’s a club for every interest that meets at times to fit your schedule.

Clubhouse - the clubhouse is a gorgeous 10,000 square foot multi-purpose gathering place for the community. Clubs and committees meet in the great room, which homeowners can also rent for private events. With a large kitchen, it’s the perfect place to host your next celebration or attend one of the many community events.

Community Garden - grab your gardening gloves and seedlings to stake your claim on a spot in the community garden. Fully fenced to keep hungry wildlife out, it’s the perfect spot to grow your prize-winning vegetables.

Country Club Park - another source of community outdoor fun is Country Club Park. Home to horseshoe pits and bocce ball courts, it includes the disc golf course and the dog park.

Disc Golf Course - the nine-hole disc golf course is a favorite of frisbee golf enthusiasts. With a well-maintained course, it’s a great place to spend an afternoon learning how to play or to hone your already exceptional disc golf skills.

Dog Park - dogs of all sizes and their owners enjoy the fully fenced dog park with exercise areas for dogs to climb in, on, and through. Socialize your furry friend and make new human friends at the same time.

Fishing - With various freshwater fish, Lake Holiday offers fishing from on the lake, along the shore, or from the comfortable fishing pier steps away from the clubhouse.

Fitness Center - with new equipment, the gym at Lake Holiday is available for residents of all fitness levels. Use the treadmill, the elliptical, a rowing machine, weights, or one of the many other machines to build or maintain an exercise habit.

Hiking Trails - hiking trails wind through the back section of Lake Holiday, meandering through woods, over streams, and even past a historic graveyard. Green, purple, red, orange, and blue marked trails deliver an enjoyable experience for beginners and advanced hikers.

Marina and Boat Storage - Lake Holiday has over 100 boat slips on a newly configured marina to make your boating experience more enjoyable. The boat ramp has been upgraded to allow easy entry into the water for boats of all sizes. If you need to store your boat, Lake Holiday offers boat storage year-round.

Picnic and Barbecue Areas - spend an afternoon in the shade of massive trees behind the clubhouse. With picnic tables, charcoal grills, trash, water, and bathroom facilities, you can spend an entire day at the beach.

Playgrounds - keep the kids entertained with two playgrounds. The largest playground near the clubhouse includes climbing structures, tunnels, and play areas, while the playground at Beach 2 has swings and a kid-friendly slide.

Volleyball Courts - both sandy beaches have volleyball courts for an exhilarating game of volleyball with friends. Form teams and keep the competition going all summer long.
