Lake holiday beaches
Lake Holiday Beaches 1, 2, and 3
The beaches at Lake Holiday, Virginia, are the jewel in the crown of this highly sought-after community. Living so close to large beaches with so many amenities nearby makes lake days and beach days the most anticipated days of summer. Three beaches are around the lake.
Beach 1
Beach 1 is the heart of the community because of its location next to the clubhouse with a large picnic area and the clubhouse cafe that serves up sandwiches, pizza, and ice cream for the summer beach crowds.
The clubhouse also includes outside-accessible bathrooms and showers on the lower level. Activities throughout the summer months include bands or DJs, which can be enjoyed from Beach 1. Below is a drone photo of Beach 1, the clubhouse, and the surrounding picnic area. A sand volleyball court is at the top of the beach near a playground for the little ones.
Beach 2
Below is a photo of Beach 2 with the adjoining volleyball court and camping sites.
Beach 2 has always been popular for a lower-key beach experience, favored for small group get-togethers and camping nearby. It has been expanded substantially both in size and with new sand.
Beach 2 has a boat dock, making getting in and out of your boat to enjoy beach time much more accessible than wading through the water. Portable potties, a playground, built-in grills, and a picnic area provide everything you need for a fun, relaxing weekend at the beach.
Beach 3
Below is a photo of beach three taken from on the lake.
Beach 3 is across the lake from the clubhouse. Currently, access to Beach 3 is a rough ride along unpaved roads. Beach 3 is also the only beach at Lake Holiday that has not had sand added. There is a boat tie-up and benches to sit on, with further improvements planned in the future to make Beach 3 as desirable and beautiful as Beaches 1 and 2.
